2 planes, 2 trains, we are HERE

Day one:

Favorite AM sight: All six of us rolling our own luggage. Realizing that I am traveling without a stroller, car seat, or diaper bag. Bliss.

Took pics of the kids at Midway Airport with the Blues Brothers statues. Ben is a HUGE fan.

Other great things: hotel has great view, hotel has free dinner (although Jon says my potato soup is better)

The new Newsweek is so great...finally was able to read one cover to cover and will be doing so every week now. Love the new format.

I finally watched the pilot of the tv show GLEE on my IPOD. Great tv series. Very Square Pegsish and other high school series I can't remember the names of.

It was nice to send one text out and let people know we arrived safe. The phones are still entralling the boys.

Pool is open til 11 (9 our time) and the boys can't wait to swim and see the skyline view at night (pool is on top floor)

Tomorrow, I'm taking two boys on a trolley tour and to the Planetarium. Paul, Lloyd, and the boys are off to a Cubs game.

Observation: People dress much better in the city. I'm sure it's not all "couture" but it looks like it to me...and the number of women in 4 inch heels

We will sleep well tonight, travel always is wearing.
